Slurry Lagoons

Following the introduction of the new EU directive, as from January 2012 the utilisation of slurry has altered. The new EU regulations dictate the times of the year when slurry can be spread on the land. The consequence of this means livestock farmers are now required to hold much larger amounts of slurry for greater periods of time. As from January 2012 slurry can no longer be spread on the land between October through to January. Traditionally slurry was stored in silo's and was used as fertiliser throughout the year. Due to the increased volumes of slurry now needing to be stored, livestock farmers are now having slurry lagoons installed. The lagoons we construct are to NVZ specification, and all materials have a 20 year guarantee. We are very happy to assist you with a lagoon, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
